Scientists at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine work intensively with the Public Health Institute of Ukraine (PHCU), the Ministry of Health in Kiev as well as with regional laboratories in Kharkiv, Lviv and Odessa. Our thoughts are with our cooperation partners and friends who are currently enduring great suffering. The day the invasion started is a black day for Europe, our peace and also for scientific freedom.
